In Jakarta.

Jakarta, Indonesia,
2 - 4 May 2015.

It was really unplanned, for me at least, since I had couples of time insisted not to go. I even cried to my mom and my sisters! A super short visit to Jakarta for an important event.

Again, last minute MAS Airlines return tickets were finally booked, with mixed feelings, I'd to go.

We arrived at the airport around 1 p.m. Later we were brought straight away to Tamrin City Mall. Crowded roads, crowded with vehicles, crowded with people. And we had more less 2 hours to shop for everything.

Since it was not enough time to shop (which I didn't bother to do anyway), the next day we went to Tanah Abang and this time we bought more, especially since Raya celebration is coming soon. At 1 p.m. we came back to the hotel and get ready for the real purpose of coming to Jakarta; attending a wedding.

The next day I'd to catch up my flight alone at 9.40 a.m., while the others at 11.40 a.m. As I arrived at KLIA, I asked Petot to fetch me at KL Central with banner and teddy bear, and she came out with this. Hahaa, fine. Still cute thou.

Well, I am really glad its over and back in KL. No more sinetrons, no more fake smiles.

Later Petot and I went to Shah Alam for Ayam Penyet and Cuppa Teh Tarik. Gossiping, and a super looooooooong rant.

P.s. Again, I don't bother to take photos, and didn't even bring camera with me. Travelling without camera is so not me.

P.s.p.s. Glad that there are still some people who want to hear my concerns and comfort me in many ways, including him :)

love,

The beauty of nature.

"the Earth has music for those who listen" - George Santayana

I am never a big fan of cinemas, malls, karaoke boxes, and bowling allies. In fact, especially nowadays, gardens, lakes, jungles, mountains, any places to do with nature simply capture my heart. Perhaps it is one of the signs of AGING. sobs.

But I really enjoyed the nature when I was in Germany. Perfect weather together with the perfect loved ones. Hehee

But to do this activity in Malaysia sounds pretty crazy idea, I know. Hot, yes, sooooo hot! I often came here to jog at the evening back then. I never walked through out the garden and enjoy the scenery. But lately we often took the chance, normally around 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., to have a quick picnic with book (and gossips); sometimes coffee and sometimes tea, sometimes Nasi Lemak and sometimes something I baked the day before such as Cinnamon Roll and Chocolate Fudge Brownies. *Yumm, craving for it now, ohh I need to bake something sweet tomorrow.

It was nice, but still, nothing to compare when I am with him. Hahaa sorry Petot!

P.s. Museums, exhibitions, concerts, theaters are my things too. Yes, museums!

P.s.p.s. The last photo, die Architektur. I got captivated by the sunlight coming through from top structure and created those lovely shadows. And just because it got something to do with him ;)

love,

One sunny day.

Because what I wore that day was not suitable for any adventurous activities. And because I didn't bring along my camera with me.

I'd been studying in Shah Alam for many years and heard a lot about cycling and the 'Rumah 4 Musim' from my friends, but never once I visited here.

Should come with proper attires and join the activities next time!

When the weather is fine. One fine day. I hope. We'll see.

P.s. but not interested with 'Rumah 4 Musim' thou. Heehe

love,

Weddings oh weddings.

Yes, April had been a busy month with cousin's wedding invitations from both Mak and Abah's sides.

And the various versions of question 'Awak bila lagi?' have been asked either; directly asked me in front of Abah, whispered in my ear loudly (yes!), or shouted on my face in front of other cousins, while some came up with simply rude version, 'Lama lagi ke?' which left me with.. whattt? expression *yea, with that Jackie Chan's meme on 9gag.

Am I the only one who thinks that 'Lama lagi ke?' sounds more rude than 'Awak bila lagi?'?

Ouchh.

Since the questions mostly came from my Aunties and Uncles, I jokingly pretended I couldn't hear the question like.. 'Hahh? Ape? Ape?' But the more I pretended to not hear the question, the louder they asked! Hahaaha. Ok fine. So I simply answered 'InsyaAllah', 'Coming soon' and at one point 'Whatever' because the question of 'Lama lagi ke?' really pissed me off.

I mean, come on people. We are living in the 21st century, which I think that kind of questions are not relevant to be asked anymore. I will get married when the time is right, so don't worry. And don't bother.

Believe me, happiness in life is not necessarily determined by marriage.

P.s. At some points, I want to go somewhere far away to avoid these questions. PhD is one of valid reasons to stay away from these.

P.s.p.s But at the end of the day, people will never get tired to ask 'bila lagi nak dapat anak?', 'bila lagi nak tambah anak lagi satu?'. How about 'bila lagi nak mati?' ohh if only they could ask that.

15.03.2015 Farra's wedding.

It's been almost three months I left my blog unintended. For some reasons, I didn't have mood to write, to post photos and to publish anything. Now I need to clean up my phone's memory storage so I thought, perhaps I should transfer the photos and make an update. A quick one.

Ohhh I don't think its gonna be a quick one.

I know Farra since we both studied Master's degree at UiTM, and I met her for the first time during interview for scholarship. It was a quick meeting but as senior (or someone older.. blugghh face it Ajian!) I have a good impression of her.

Well, studying Master in UiTM was difficult to me, in fact I believe it was difficult to all of us under this 'special' program. Ohh don't make me think of every single detail of it! But Alhamdulillah, somehow she makes me went through this easier.. and we share so much things in common! From Shah Alam to Stuttgart, we have been good friends, spent so much time and did travel together. Especially Istanbul, yes, we went there only two of us, and that place becomes the most memorable place I ever visited!

And on March 15, together with Steffen, our classmate from Stuttgart and my friend Petot, we drove all the way to Muar to celebrate her becoming a wife. Congratulations Paraahhh!

After the wedding, not in our plan, we stopped by at Pasar Malam, and later at the Dataran Tanjung Emas Muar to witness the sunset.

At night, as Farra suggested, we went to eat Mee Bandung at the popular Mee Bandung Abang Sayang. It was delishhhh, and highly recommended! I was thinking of tapau-ing for my family but too many customers, and we were quite in rush since Steffen needed to catch the bus to Farid's wedding in Terengganu.

Later at night after we drop off Steffen at the bus station, we wanted to grab coffee at any random cafe, but it was late and most of the shops are closed. So we bought Nescafe in tin, drove back and reached KL at midnight.

At 2 a.m. I woke up from sleep because of stomachache. And it continued at 3, 4 and 5 a.m.. I had diarrhea! Later I asked Petot if she felt sick, and she said yes. And poor Steffen.. Couldn't imagine him on the bus for 8 hours..

P.s. Later Steffen told me that he found 'something' in his mee bandung, and it was too late to tell as we have finished all in the plate! LOL. Ni takde orang tahu pasal ni including Parahh hehee
