Abah's 70th Birthday.

Back in year 1960's, when people rarely got a chance studied in university, Abah was once graduated from University Malaya. After graduated, he married to our mother and became an Assistant District Officer in Besut for 5 months, then joined Malaysian Civil Service as PTD officer and was transferred to Kuching, Sarawak for 3 years. After few years, our family moved to New Zealand when he worked as Malaysian Student Department officer in Wellington for 3 years.

As part of the service, he was posted as mageran officer in Kota Bahru for 3 months and then transferred as State Development Officer in Terengganu. He resigned after few years and joined ESSO as liaison officer. When Terengganu was developing as petroleum industrial state, he resigned with ESSO and involved with housing development in Kerteh.

When economy was sliding down, that was the turning point, when he was declared bankrupt and we all moved to Kemaman and live moderately.

After what happened in the past, how time flies, today, Alhamdulillah, he is still healthy and strong. And yesterday, 16 September 2012, he turned 70 years old. We took the chance to celebrate his special day, had a Majlis Dua'a selamat and small kenduri.

the invited orang-orang masjid and Abah's friends for Dua'a selamat.
The menus; Nasi Dagang Terengganu, BBQ lamb and chicken, potato salad.
Desserts; blueberry cheese tarts, chocolate muffins, Kek Lapis Indonesia and homemade chocolate cake.

Thank you thank you thank you for those who attended and made it a memorable one!

The siblings gathered together, contributed money, endless effort and energy and made it a success.

And thank you to 2 bibiks for lending helping hands! hihii.
WIWT; mix and match navy and dark blue with yellow mustard color blend.. Success.
Or nay.
P.s. The canopy we hired from BJEcanopy came 4-hour late when orang masjid were arrived and the majlis started in chaos. So if you're planning to hold an event, choose carefully. BJEcanopy? no longer in our list.

With love,
